Printing Work Instructions

Work instructions are printed for the Reference Date you select. The work instructions can be printed, either sorted by Line Stations by Assembly Order or Assembly Orders by Line Station.

The orders must either have the status Frozen, or Ready to Start. You can also chose to print instructions for orders which have already been printed, by selecting Reprint in the Print What field.

You can run this session by a trigger, such as completing a line-station order on another line station, using process-triggered workflow, by means of the Start Print Work Instructions (tiasc5451m000) session. You define the triggers in the Process Trigger Definition (tiasl8100m000) session.

A space is provided on the work instructions for you to enter the serial number. If you are using serialized items, the serial numbers, for example the VIN of a car, are generated when you confirm the line sequence, that is, when you generate the As-built structure. To define whether an item is serialized, select or clear the Serialized check box in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session.
