Print Production Order Planning (tisfc1401m000)

Use this session to print the progress of the production plan.

You can print the production plan for production orders for which the status is:

  • Created
  • Printed
  • Released
  • Active
  • Completed

Report

You can choose between five report types:

  • Production Order
  • Project
  • Work Center
  • Machine
  • Task

If you select Production Order, each production order is on a separate page, detailing the data belonging to that Production Order. The order by which the details are sorted, is determined by the Selection Order field.

It is usually faster to produce a report sorted in the same order as the type of report; you can make this the default by selecting the Base Selection Order on Report check box. However, sometimes it is better to choose another Production Order. For example, you want to make a Production Order report for all production orders in a single project. It is then best to choose Project, so that LN will print the production orders project by project.

Option

You can choose whether to present the data as a bar chart or as a percentage. You can also choose whether to print completed operations.

Note: You must make sure that the start date for bar chart is on or before the earliest progress you want to print. You must also select the right day or week scale (in combination with the scale factor) so that all your data fit on the report.

The order by which the report is sorted. For example, if you select Production Order, each production order is on a separate page, detailing the data belonging to that production order.

Base Selection Order on Report

If this check box is selected, you can use the Selection Order field to speed up production of the report.

The value of the Selection Order field determines the order by which LN evaluates the selection ranges. Your choice can have a strong effect on system performance, but it has no effect on the printed report.

Example

Suppose you use the session as follows:

  • You specify as selection range for Work Centers: (From Work Center K-1234 to Work Center K-1234)
  • You specify as selection range for Tasks: (From Task 50 to Task 236)
  • You specify the maximum selection ranges for all other selection ranges.

If you enter Machine in the Selection Order field, LN checks all the data in the order of machine, to see if it fits the selection range. As a consequence, every record must be checked. This method takes a lot of time.

If you enter Work Center in the Selection Order field, LN checks whether the work center is K-1234, before performing any other check. This saves time.
