Reference Operation (tirou4650m000)

Use this session to manage the reference operations.

Field Information

Reference Operation

The reference operation ID.

Machine Type

The type of machine on which the reference operation is performed.

Site

The site for which the reference operations are defined.

Work Center

Routing Quantity

The quantity of product on which the cycle time is based.

Setup Time

The time required for setting up or changing over a machine before you can start production again. Setup time can vary in duration depending on the machine and the operations performed.

Cycle Time

Production Rate

The number of units for which the task can be performed per unit of time on a work center. The unit can be per hour or per minute, depending on the Production Rate Time Unit field in the Job Shop Master Data Parameters (tirou0100m000) session. The rate is derived from the cycle time.

Number of Machines

The number of machines used during production.

Process Time

The time between completion of two separate units of production on a machine. For example, if an operation is processed on two machines, and has a cycle time of 4 minutes, the process time would be 8 minutes.

Fixed Setup Time

The sequence independent time required to set up or change over a machine in order to start running the machine.

This is used by SCM Scheduler and Planner.

Labor Resources for Setup

The number of employees needed for setup, expressed in full-time equivalent.

Labor Resources for Production

The number of employees needed, expressed in full-time equivalent.

Transfer Batch Quantity

The quantity of product that must be finished to start the next routing operation if the Use Transfer Batch check box is selected.
