Use this session to display for which items alternative materials are defined in production bills of material.

Note: To use this session the Job Shop by Site parameter in the Concept Activation (tcemm4600m000) session must be set to Active.

The alternative material.

Product

The product ID.

Revision

The product revision in which the material is used.

Status
BOM Quantity

BOM quantity

Position

The number of the BOM line.

Item

The material for which the bill of material line is generated.

Note: 

You cannot specify:

  • Costs
  • Services
  • Other non-physical items
Alternative

The identification of the alternative-material record.

Alternative Priority

The alternative priority determines which of the alternatives LN will select first.

Allowed values

  • Use up

    This is an outdated material ( use-up material) that must be used up first.

  • Original

    The standard item.

  • 1

    The alternative that will be selected if the inventory of the standard material (and the use-up material, if any) is insufficient.

  • 2

    The alternative that will be selected if the inventory of the standard material and the first alternative material (and the use-up material, if any) is insufficient.

  • 3, 4, 5, ...

    Lower priority alternative materials.

  • 9

    The lowest priority alternative material.
