Option Combinations List - Option Combinations (tiasl1565m000)

Use this session to list the option combinations present in an option-combination list.

For option combinations the following rules exist:

  • Blocking rules

An option combination list can be used as a blocking rule. Blocking rules define which option combination cannot succeed another option combination. If you have multiple option combinations, blocking rules can also define which option combination cannot succeed a multiple option combination.
  • Clustering rules

An option combination list can be used as a clustering rule. Clustering rules can define multiple option combinations in a cluster, and clusters those combinations. LN attaches a sequence number to every option combination.

You can define option-combination lists in the Option Combination Lists (tiasl1511m000) session.

Field Information

Option Combination List

Code of the list of option combinations.

List Type

The type of rule for which this list is used.

Allowed values

  • Clustering

This option combination list determines which options must be clustered.
  • Blocking

This option combination list determines which options are not allowed to succeed particular other options.

Option Combination A

Option combination

If this list is of type Clustering, the option combinations in this column will be placed next to each other, in the order given in the Sequence/Penalty field.

If this list is of type Blocking, the option combinations in this column cannot immediately precede the option combination in the matching Option Combination B field.

Note: In some places, the Option Combination A field is labeled as Block Option Combination.
Option Combination B

Option combination

If this list is of type Blocking, the option combinations in this column cannot immediately follow the option combination in the matching field of the Option Combination A column.

Note: In some places, the Option Combination B field is labeled as Option Combination.
Sequence/Penalty

This function of this field depends on the value of the List Type field.

If this list is of type Clustering, this field indicates the sequence that the option combinations are clustered in.

If this list is of type Blocking, this field indicates the penalty cost applied when a rule using this option combination list is not met during sequencing.

Note: In some places, the Sequence/Penalty field is labeled as Cluster Sequence or Block Penalty.
Explanation

If the list type is Blocking, this field describes the effect of the blocking rule.
