Calculate Receivables Aging Analysis (tfacr2511m000)

Use this session to calculate and view the invoice-to business partner's aged outstanding balance totals. Depending on the selected settings, the aged outstanding balances are stored in tables. Not only can this data can be used for future analysis, it can also be used to display a chart in the Accounts Receivable 360 (tfacr2560m000) session.

The Period Details tab includes the summed aging data for each aging period.

The aging analysis code you select determines:

  • The period type.
  • The length of each aging period.
  • The number of periods.

To update aging periods after changing the selection criteria for the display, click Calculate. LN calculates the total unpaid invoice amount for each period.

Aging Analysis

Select the aging analysis code.

Default value

The aging analysis code is specified in the ACR Parameters (tfacr0100s000) session.

Type

The time unit in which the periods are defined.

Based on

The date on which the aging analysis is based.

Document Date

The document date of the invoice.

Due Date

The due date of the invoice.

Selection By

The basis on which the invoices are selected for the report.

Document Date

The printed balance is based on the document date, the date on which the invoice is created.

Fiscal Period

The printed balance is based on the fiscal period.

Dates and Periods
Use Job Reference Date

If this check box is selected, you can specify a job reference date based on which the As on Date/Month, Last Invoice Date/Period, and Last Payment Date/Period are determined.

Job Reference Date

If the session is added to a job, the job can run, for example, each day, where the As on Date/Month is determined relative to the date specified here.

As on Date/Month

The date from which the aging summary is calculated.

You can specify a date in this field, or specify a year and period in the following fields. This depends on how the aging analysis code is defined in the Aging Analysis Data (tfacp0540m000) session.

The financial year starting from which the aging analysis is given.

Period Separator

The separator between the year and the period.

The financial period starting from which the aging summary is given.

Last Invoice Date/Period

This field can only be accessed if the Selection By field is Document Date. Otherwise, the field will be skipped. Specify the date to be used as final invoice date for the aging analysis. This means no invoices may be selected whose dates are later than the date in this field.

This field can only be accessed if the Selection By field is Fiscal Period. Otherwise, the field will be skipped. Specify the final financial period for the invoices whose aging analysis must be printed. This means no invoices may be selected whose dates are later than the financial period in this field.

Last Receipt Date/Period

This field can only be accessed if the Selection By field is Document Date. Otherwise, the field will be skipped. Specify the last payment date for the invoices whose aging analysis must be printed. This means no invoices may be selected whose last payment dates are later than the date in this field.

This field can only be accessed if the Selection By field is Fiscal Period. Otherwise, the field will be skipped. Specify the period related to the last payment date of the invoices for which you want to print the aging analysis. This means no invoices may be selected whose last payment dates are later than the fiscal period in this field.

Include Child Business Partners

If this check box is selected, and a parent business partner is within the range, also that business partner's children are included (provided they are within the selection range specified on the Selection tab).

Fill Aging Analysis Summary

If this check box is selected, the totals are stored in the Aging Analysis Table by Company/Business partner.

Fill Aging Analysis Details

If this check box is selected, the invoices taken into account for the totals are stored in the Aging Analysis Table.

Based on Segment Lines

If this check box is selected, the data is stored in the Details table per segment.

Standard Receivables Aging Run

If this check box is selected, the data for the aging run is used for the chart in the Accounts Receivable 360 (tfacr2560m000) session. Other aging runs may exist, but only this one will be used.

Invoice Documents to be Included
Doubtful Invoices

If this check box is selected, the aging analysis includes doubtful invoices.

Advance Invoice/Payment Request

If this check box is selected, the aging analysis includes advance invoices and advance payment requests.

Additional Options
Include Advance Receipts in Customer Balance

If this check box is selected, advance receipts are included in the customer balance.

Include Unallocated Receipts in Customer Balance

If this check box is selected, unallocated receipts are included in the customer balance.

Include Anticipated Receipts in Customer Balance

If this check box is selected, anticipated receipts are included in the customer balance, which will be affected.

Include Trade Notes in Customer Balance

If this check box is selected, trade notes are included in the customer balance, which will be affected.

Note: This option refers to trade notes that do not have the Replace Invoice by Trade Note check box selected in the Trade Note Types (tfcmg0516m000) session. Trade notes with Replace Invoice by Trade Note selected are included in balances and printed on reports by default.
From Which Receipt Procedure Step

Select the Include Anticipated Receipts in Customer Balance check box, to indicate the receipt procedure step.

Include Non Due Documents

If this check box is selected, the aging analysis includes documents whose due dates are outside the aging analysis periods.

Period Details
Total Balance

The total balance of all the invoices, both due and not yet due.

Aging Run

The number assigned to the aging run.

Period Details
Period Length

The time unit in which the periods are defined.

Period Header

The text displayed or printed above the column containing the invoices belonging to this period.

Amount In

The total amount of the unpaid invoices in this period.
