Global Registration Parameters (tctax2100m000)

Field Information

Introduction Date

The date and time when the parameters are effective. The parameters are valid up to the introduction date of a more recent parameter setting.

Note: By default, this field displays the date and time when you change and save the parameter settings.

Description

The description of the parameter set. For example, you can indicate why you changed the parameters.

Registrations (Non-Tax)

The status of the non-tax registration numbers in Infor LN. This is related to both own registration numbers and business partner registration numbers.

Allowed values

Inactive

The sessions and attributes related to the registration process. This is the default setting.

In Preparation

The sessions related to the registration process are visible and can be used to setup the master data. However, this master data is not used for the transactions.

Active

All the required master data is setup and validated and the registration function is used for the new transactions.

Registration by Tax Country

The adoption status of the registration by tax country implementation.

Allowed values

Inactive

The sessions and attributes related to the registration process. This is the default setting.

In Preparation

The sessions related to the registration process are visible and can be used to setup the master data. However, this master data is not used for the transactions.

Active

All the required master data is setup and validated and the registration function is used for the new transactions.

Note: 

• Once Active, it is not allowed anymore to reset the parameter to In Preparation or Inactive.
• As soon as you set the Registration by Tax Country parameter to Active, it is not allowed anymore to change the date settings in the Registrations by Financial Company (tctax2122m000) session in such a way that the reprinting of already printed sales invoices for a particular country is affected.
• If one or more registration types exist, you can set the value in this field to Inactive.

Default Registration Type

The primary registration type that is used for tax registrations. This registration type represents the VAT registration.

Note: 

Infor LN applies only the VAT registration type, if the Registration by Tax Country field is set to In Preparation or Active and the Extended Registration Management field is set to Inactive.

This field is enabled and Infor LN allows you to modify the value in this field if the Multiple Registration Types check box is selected.

Infor LN populates this value when you specify the first registration type in the Registration Type (tctax2610m000) session.

Extended Registration Management

The status of the extended registration management functionality.

Allowed values

Inactive

The sessions and attributes related to the registration process. This is the default setting.

In Preparation

The sessions related to the registration process are visible and can be used to setup the master data. However, this master data is not used for the transactions.

Active

All the required master data is setup and validated and the registration function is used for the new transactions.

Note: 

This field is displayed only if the Extended Registration Management Status is In Preparation or Active in the Concept Activation (tcemm4600m100) session.

If one or more registration types exist, you can set the value in this field to Inactive.

Procedure Step blocked at Incomplete Tax and Registration Data

Indicates that the operational procedure step is blocked, because the tax and registration data is incomplete.

Note: This field is displayed only if the value in the Extended Registration Management Status is In Preparation or Active in the Concept Activation (tcemm4600m100) session.

Default value

The default value is Freeze/Confirm Shipment/Receipt.

Create Warehouse Order

Create Shipment/Receipt

Freeze/Confirm Shipment/Receipt

Registrations by Enterprise Unit

If this check box is selected, you can specify a registration ID at the enterprise unit level.

Note: 

This field is also displayed and enabled if:

• The value in the Extended Registration Management field is other than Inactive.
• The Registrations (Non-Tax) field is set to Active.

Multiple Registration Types

If this check box is selected, Infor LN allows you to specify multiple registration types.

Note: 

• By default, this check box is cleared.
• This field is enabled if the value in the Extended Registration Management field is other than Inactive.
• This field is displayed and enabled only if the Registrations (Non-Tax) field is set to Active.

Optional Jurisdiction at State / Province Level

If this check box is selected, Infor LN allows you to use the State / Province as the jurisdiction level to facilitate multiple registrations.

Note: 

This field is also displayed and enabled if:

• The value in the Extended Registration Management field is other than Inactive.
• The Registrations (Non-Tax) field is set to Active.

Multiple Jurisdictions by Registration

If this check box is selected, Infor LN allows you to add multiple jurisdictions for one registration.

Note: 

This field is enabled only if the value in the Extended Registration Management field is other than Inactive.

Infor LN does not allow you to modify the value in this field if multiple jurisdictions are defined for a registration.

Tax and Registration Data History

Indicates that the tax and registration data history is maintained, in case changes are required.

Note: 

This field is displayed only if the value in the Extended Registration Management Status is In Preparation or Active in the Concept Activation (tcemm4600m100) session.

By default, this check box is cleared. However, Infor LN allows you to modify this value.

Default Registration Type for Fiscal IDs

The default tax registration type that must be used for the registrations related to fiscal IDs.

Note: This field is displayed only if the Extended Registration Management field is other than Inactive.
