Authorization Roles (tcsec0120m000)
Use this session to create Authorization Role that are used to set up data authorization for a group of employees with the same role. The permissions for these roles are setup in the Permissions (tcsec3100m000) session.
This session also allows you to import an AMS or DEM role to retain a link between a role in AMS or DEM and the authorization role. A role can be similar to an AMS or DEM role, or multiple roles can be linked to the same AMS or DEM role. For example, the PROJMAN AMS role, that is a project manager, is linked to PROJMAN_US and PROJMAN_EU data authorization security roles. This ensures that even though the access to the data is different, the access to the session remains the same.
