Mobile device management

LN Mobile Service can now be managed through dedicated Mobile Device Management (MDM) software.

Several mobile service settings are controlled from LN CE. The settings in the Mobile Service application can be controlled by LN CE through an app settings file. All these settings require Mobile Service to be connected to LN CE.

An administrator might want to specify some settings before a connection is established with LN CE. These settings can now be specified through Mobile Device Management for Android and iOS.

Performance improvements

Performance has been improved for data synchronization and for the mobile app.

Data synchronization

These improvements have been made:

• Additional options in the user template to disable specific functionality
• Prevention of unnecessary data traffic
• Optimization of data retrieval for some BDEs

Mobile app

Improvements have been made in these areas:

• Data processing
• UI performance (memory leaks resolved)

Physical breakdown

In addition to viewing the physical breakdown, service engineers can now also edit the physical breakdown in LN Mobile Service.
