Creating a sales order

To create a sales order:

  1. Access the Sales Order Intake Workbench (tdsls4601m200) session and click New. The Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session is displayed.
  2. Select the invoiced business partner in the Business Partner field of the Sold-to BP section and press Tab.
    Note: Infor LN populates data related to for the selected business partner.
  3. Select the business partner to whom the material must be shipped in the Business Partner field of the Ship-to BP section.
  4. Select the S08 Sales Order Automatic in the Order Type field.
  5. Select Installment Plan in the Installments field and the installment plan linked to the business partner that allows the triangular sales is updated in the Plan field of the Control section.
  6. Select the purchased item in the second segment of the Item field on the Order Lines tab.
  7. Specify the quantity in the Ordered Quantity field and the default price of the item is updated in the Price field.
  8. Click Approve to approve the sales order and execute the order line activities.
  9. Select References > Installments. The Installments (cisli8620m000) session is displayed.
  10. Verify that the Installment Status is Approved for the installment line on theLines > General tab.
  11. Select the installment line and click Transfer to transfer the installment line to Invoicing. The Installment Status is Transferred.
