Return sales order

To retrieve the stock, a return sales order must be created manually.

To create a return sales order:

  1. Access the Sales Order Intake Workbench (tdsls4601m200) session and click New. The Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session is displayed.
  2. Select the business partner in the Business Partner field and press Tab.
    Note: Infor LN populates the data related to the selected business partner.
  3. Select the order type of invoice reversal EST (Reversal Invoice) in the Order Type field, select sales office in the Sales Office field, select the order series in the Order field of the Control section.
  4. Select References > Sales Order Details. The Sales Orders (tdsls4100m000) session is displayed.
  5. Specify the original sales order details and select the reason for return in the Return Reason field of the Returns section and click Save.
  6. Select Actions > Copy from Original Document . The Sales Order Invoice Lines (tdsls4106m100) session is displayed.
  7. Select the order line of the original sales order and click Save changes and exit. The Remarks during Copy Sales Order report is generated.
  8. Verify that the order line is added to the Order Lines tab in the Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session.
  9. Click Approve to approve the sales order and execute the order line activities.
  10. Select the order line on the Order Lines tab and click References > Status. The Sales Order Line Status (tdsls4534s000) session is displayed.
  11. Review the order line activities and click Execute to release the sales order to Warehousing.
  12. Access the Warehousing Orders (whinh2100m000) session and click Go to Details related to the warehousing order of the return sales order. The Warehousing Order (whinh2100m100) session is displayed.
  13. Select the inbound line on the Inbound Lines tab and click References > Status Overview. The Inbound Line Status Overview (whinh2119m000) session is displayed.
  14. Select Actions > Receive. The Warehouse Receipts (whinh3512m000) session is displayed.
  15. Select the receipt line on the Lines > Receipt tab and click Confirm.
  16. Verify that the inbound activities are executed and the Receipt quantity is updated in the Quantities In Inventory Unit section.
  17. Click Execute to release the sales order to invoicing.
  18. Access the Invoicing 360 (cisli3600m000) session, select the return sales order in the third segment of the Source Document field, and click Apply Filter.
  19. Select the billable line of the return sales order on the Billable Lines tab and click Actions > Compose Invoice . The Invoice Status is updated to Ready to Print.
  20. Select the invoice line on the Invoices > Invoice Data tab and click Actions > Submit to External Invoicing. The Invoice Status is automatically updated to Approved by External System.
