Purchase Schedule

A purchase schedule is a planned material supply schedule. Purchase schedules handle long term purchases with frequent deliveries and are usually guaranteed by a purchase contract. All requirements for the same item, purchasing business partner, dispatching business partner, purchasing department and storage are stored on a single schedule. Purchase schedules are used as a replacement of the standard purchase orders where full visibility and time synchronization of material requirements information is required. Therefore, purchasing tables provide a more detailed way of specifying delivery dates / hours by item.
