Creating a sales order

To create a sales order, execute these steps:

  1. Access the Sales Order Intake Workbench (tdsls4601m200) session and click New. The Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session is displayed.
  2. Select the sold-to business partner in the Business Partner field of the Sold-to BP section and press Tab.
  3. Select the order type for direct delivery in the Order Type field in the Control section of the sales order header.
  4. Verify that the Delivery Type is Direct Delivery for the sales order line on the Order Lines tab.
    Note: This value is updated based on the parameters defined for direct delivery.
  5. Click Approve to approve the sales order. The application automatically creates a direct delivery purchase order.
