Creating a return sales order

If the inventory must be returned, create a manual return sales order and retrieve the inventory.

  1. Access the Sales Order Intake Workbench (tdsls4601m200) session and create New. The Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session is displayed.
  2. Specify the required data and select an order type of Reversal Invoice in the Order Type field.
  3. Select References > Sales Order Details. The Sales Orders session is displayed.
  4. Specify the original document data and the Return Reason in the Returns section and select Actions > Copy from Original Document to copy the order lines from the original document to the return sales order.
  5. Approve the sales order and execute the return order process using the options from the Actions menu.
  6. Select the receipt line on the Lines tab in the Warehouse Receipt (whinh3512m000) session and click Confirm. This physical receipt process is performed without creating another fiscal document.
  7. Click Execute in the Sales Order Line Status (tdsls4534s000) session to release the sales order to Invoicing.
  8. Access the Invoicing 360 (cisli3600m000) session, select the billable line for the sales order on the Billable Lines tab and click Actions > Compose Invoice.
  9. Select the invoice line on the Invoices tab and click Actions > Submit to External Invoicing. The Invoice Status is updated to Approved by External System.
