Embargoes overview
An embargo is a prohibition by a country or a group of countries to restrict trade or
movement of specific goods with specific countries.
Master data setup for embargoes
To use embargoes, you must set up this data in the Trade Management Parameters (tcgtc0100m000) session:
- Select these check boxes on the General tab:
- Embargoes
- Export
- Import
- Specify this information on the Embargoes and
Boycotts tab:
- Number Group
- Series for Embargoes
