Kanban Item Information (brkan0101m999)

Use this session to create and modify kanban item information.

Field Information

Warehouse

The warehouse in which the item is stored.

Note: 
  • The warehouse for this item.
  • This is not a mandatory field and is only entered if an item is considered as a kanban item in specific warehouses only.
Item

The item identified as kanban controlled.

Quantity per Kanban

The default quantity of items that must be supplied in a kanban bin.

Container

The description of the kanban container.

Ordering Type

The order type used to generate replenishment requests.

Purchase
Replenishment
Transfer
Number Group

The number group linked to the specified order type.

Note: The value is defaulted based on the selected Ordering Type. You cannot modify the value.
Description

The description or name of the code.

Series

The order series used to generate the orders.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Queued Request Depth

The number of kanban requests that are generated before an order is created to replenish the kanban bin.

Purchase Order Type

The purchase order type used if the kanban is refilled by a purchase order.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Delivery Days

The number of days required to fulfill the request.

Supplier

The buy-from business partner.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Routing

The routing for production orders linked to a loop.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Routing Revision
Production Warehouse

The warehouse where the items are produced.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Replenishment Warehouse

The warehouse where the items are replenished.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Order Type

The warehouse order type used if the kanban is refilled by a transfer order.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Use Local Parameters

If this check box is selected, you can specify custom parameters for the specified item.

Note: If this check box is cleared, Infor LN considers the general parameters specified in the Kanban Parameters (brkan0100m999) session for the generate the replenishment orders.
Combine Requests

If this check box is selected, you can link multiple kanban requests to a production order.

Note: This check box is enabled only if the Use Local Parameters check box is selected.
Automatic Approval

If this check box is selected, Infor LN approves the orders for kanban requests.

Note: 

If this check box is cleared, the orders for kanban requests have to be approved manually.

This check box is enabled only if the Use Local Parameters check box is selected.

Release Orders

If this check box is selected, the orders can be fulfilled, immediately.

Note: 

If this check box is cleared, the orders must be released before the requests can be fulfilled.

This check box is enabled only if the Use Local Parameters check box is selected.

Generate Outbound Advice

If this check box is selected, Infor LN generates an outbound advice for transfer or replenishment requests.

Note: 
  • This check box is enabled only if the Use Local Parameters check box is selected.
  • This check box is available only if the Ordering Type field is Transfer or Replenishment.
Direct Receipt

If this check box is selected, kanbans are delivered directly to the kanban location without a separate delivery function.

Note: This check box is enabled only if the Use Local Parameters check box is selected.
Over-Receipt

If this check box is selected, you can specify extra item quantities for the kanban. If more than one kanban is received, the items are added to the last kanban received.

Note: 
  • This check box is enabled only if the Use Local Parameters check box is selected.
  • If this check box is cleared, you can create a temporary kanban for excess quantities received, that can be used only once.
Automatic Consumption

If this check box is selected, Infor LN writes off the inventory when a kanban is delivered.

Note: This check box is enabled only if the Use Local Parameters check box is selected.
Reason for Automatic Consumption

If this check box is selected, you can specify the reason code used for inventory adjustments arising due to auto-consumption.

Note: This check box is enabled only if the Use Local Parameters check box is selected.
Email at Process

If this check box is selected, Infor LN generates email for processing.

Note: 

  • This check box is enabled only if the Use Local Parameters check box is selected.

  • Reasons for which approval is required are unavailable in the zoom session. This is because approvals would interrupt the automatic processing of adjustments.
