Day Type (bpxtm1600m000)

Use session to view, maintain, and approve a day type.
Note: 
  • This session can be accessed only if the Number Group for Day Type is specified in the Attendance Parameters (bpxtm0100m000) session.
  • You can also use this session to check the accuracy of the day type in case there is an overlap of time.

Field Information

Day Type

The code of the day type based on the first free number series.

Description

The name of the day type.

Status

The status of the day type.

Allowed values

Free

When a day type is created and will be free after any modifications are made.

Approved

A day type can only be closed when the status is set to Approved that checks the validity of the day type.

Color Coding

The color code used for day planning and capacity schedule.

Search Key

The search key used for the day type.

Preference

The preference set for the day type. Infor LN considers this value to generate the actual plan board for an employee.

For example, Jan1st 2021 is a Friday. The recurrence linked to the employee group indicates Jan 1st as a regular working day. The company or site plan board indicates this day as a holiday. Infor LN considers Jan 1st as a holiday or regular working day based on either the employee group settings or the settings of the company or site.

Allowed values

Employee Group

If the day type is defined at the Employee Group level.

Site/Company

If the day type is defined at the company level. For example, a national holiday/ public holiday can be defined at a site/company level as it is applicable across the site/company.

Planning To Actual

If this check box is selected, the planned attendance data is copied to the actual attendance in case, the time data is not registered for the day.

Note: The planned data is copied to the actual attendance only if the Active check box is selected for the time data.

The user who creates the day type.

Creation Date

The date and time when the day type is created.

Last Modified by

The user who last modifies the day type.

Last Modification Date

The date and time when the day type is last modified.

Approved by

The user who approves the day type.

Approval Date

The date and time when the day type is approved.

Planned Presence

The number of hours specified as the planned presence time for the day type.

Planned Absence

The number of hours specified as the planned absence time for the day type.

Threshold Clock In

The threshold time (specified in minutes) to capture the clock-in time required to calculate or report a basic shift difference. An overlap of time is considered as a basic shift difference.

Example, Basic shift starts at 8:00, with threshold of 5 minutes. Basic shift difference occurs when the employee clocks-in at 8:06 and not at 8:04.

Threshold Clock Out

The threshold time (specified in minutes) to capture the clock-out time required to calculate or report a basic shift difference.

Lockout Time

The time which indicates the end of the day or the clock-out time. A day type can only be approved if a lockout time is specified. Infor LN captures the lock-out time at the lockout execution time.

Lockout Execution Time

The time which indicates the completion of the lockout time.
