Assign Roles and Templates to Users (ttams1201m000)

Use this session to link the LN user or a group of users to roles and templates. You can define more than one role for the Tools user.

Note: When the Enhanced AMS Enabled parameter is set in AMS Parameters (ttams0100m000) , this session can no longer be used to assign Roles to LN users and is removed from the Authorization Management System menu. Starting the session directly through Run Program, is possible but the Role fields are disabled.

By using the various templates you can define:

  • The authorizations for the user. You can, for example, define what terminals he can use, for which package VRC, modules, and languages the user is authorized.
  • The common user data for the user. This information is shared by a group of users.
  • The default text group and text field.
  • The default development parameters.
  • Which devices the user can use.

Select the check box if you want to authorize the Tools user for all Package VRCs.

By making a selection from the Insert Mode User Data list you can overwrite all fields in the User Data (ttaad2500m000) session, or specify the blank fields.

Click Apply for Users to view a list of users that are already linked to roles and templates. In that session you can connect users to or disconnect users from the roles and templates.

CLick Apply for Left to start the Apply for Users Left ... (ttams2203m000) session that presents a list of users that are not yet linked to a role or template. In that session you can connect users to roles and templates.
