Deployment changes

Timeout of the browser connection with the UI server

A timeout of three minutes is used for the browser connection with the UI server. The timeout occurs in these situations:

  • The browser has become unresponsive.
  • A network outage.

Resources on the UI server, such as bshell connection, and resources on the LN server, such as license, are released. The timeout duration is equal for all end user's browser types. If a user is idle, the browser sends a 'ping' message every minute, to ensure that the connection with the UI server remains active.

WebSphere application server network deployment

LN UI is supported on IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment 8.5.5.x.

Synchronizer support of Microsoft Exchange Online

The Exchange Synchronizer for CRM contacts and calendar events supports Microsoft Exchange Online, standalone or as part of a Microsoft Office 365 business plan.

Note: Push synchronization is supported if the LN UI endpoint URL is exposed to the internet. For details, see the Infor LN UI Administration Guide.

HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS)

Support of HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) depends on the type of web server. For details, see Infor Support Portal KB 1893718.
