Other Preferences tab (My AutoCAD Preferences)

Use this tab to set the preferences for:

  • Save Neutral Files
  • Controlling the PLM objects of a AutoCAD file that can be attached to the business process.
  • Renaming AutoCAD files.
  • Troubleshooting.
Table 1. Attached to Workflow
Preferences Description
Attached to Business Process The type of PLM object associated with an AutoCAD file, that can be linked to the business process. Possible values:
  • Documents Only
  • Items Only
  • Both
Attach all related objects If this check box is selected, the PLM objects (items, documents) of all the components in CAD structure of an AutoCAD file are attached to the business process.
Note: The objects are attached based on the value the Attached to Business Process field is set to.
Action for objects locked by Business Process The action that must be taken if one or more objects are already locked by another business process. Possible values:
  • Attached as unlocked: The object is unlocked before being attached to the business process.
  • Do not attach: The objects that are locked are not considered for dispatch.
  • Cancel action: The dispatch operation is canceled.
