Create an ION API authorized app

Refer to the “Authorized Apps” section in the Infor API Gateway Administration Guide (Cloud).

  1. Log in to the Infor OS portal with a user who has the IONAPI-Administrator role.
  2. Go to the Navigation Menu > OS and then go to API Gateway.
  3. Navigate to Authorized Apps.
  4. Add a new entry by clicking + Add New App:
    1. Name = LN Data Publishing Management
    2. Type = Backend Service
    3. Description = LN – IMS, Data Catalog, Ingestion APIs integration
    4. Save the authorized app.
  5. Click the Download Credentials button.
  6. Set the Create Service Account to enabled. It is not necessary to associate a user with this service account.
  7. Click the Download button and keep the LN Data Publishing Management.ionapi file which must be used later.
