Using the Item, Lot and Serial 360 session

The Item, Lot and Serial 360 (whltc3600m100) session is used to track end items or components:

  • In the inbound and outbound goods flows.
  • In the as-built or as-maintained structure.

For example, if a customer reports a problem with an item received in a specific handling unit, you can use this session to check the components of the item contained in the handling unit to and to identify the source of the problem.

The Item, Lot and Serial 360 (whltc3600m100) session is composed of these sessions:

  • Selection (whltc3600m200)

    This session is located in the upper left section and comprises the Filter Options, Selection, Tracking, and Inventory sections. This session is used to select the item or component to be tracked.

  • Item, Lot and Serial Transactions (whltc3510m000)

    This session comprises the Transactions section in the lower half of the Item, Lot and Serial 360 (whltc3600m100) session, and displays the transactions related to the item or component selected in the Item, Lot and Serial 360 (whltc3600m100) session.

    These transactions can result from various processes, such as receipts, inbound or outbound inspections, adjustments, or shipping.

    If you select a transaction in this session and click the appropriate menu, various options are available to access more detailed information about the transaction, such as warehousing orders, originating orders, inspections, quarantine details, and so on.

  • Tracking (whltc3800m000)

    This session comprises the Tracking pane and is located in the upper right. The session provides a graphical representation of the as-built or as-maintained structure of the item or component item selected in the Selection (whltc3600m200) session. To view the graphical representation, you must select Where Used or Where Supplied in the Selection (whltc3600m200) session.
