Print Receipts for Lots and Serials (whltc3401m000)

Use this session to print the orders from which lots and serialized items originate.

You can track from which orders:

  • Lot items originate, if the Lot Tracking check box in the Item - Warehousing (whwmd4600m000) session is selected.
  • Serialized items originate, if the Serial Tracking check box in the Item - Warehousing (whwmd4600m000) session is selected.

You can print only the first level, all levels, or only the last level of orders from which lot items or serialized items originate. You can indicate the level to be printed in the Print Level field.

If you want to search and print:

  • Only the orders from which the lots in the selection range originate, clear the Track Both Lots and Serials check box and Start Search With Lot.
  • Only the orders from which the serialized items in the selection range originate, clear the Track Both Lots and Serials check box and Start Search With Serial.
  • The orders from which the lots or serialized items in the selection range originate, select the Track Both Lots and Serials check box.

The value of the Start Search With field determines whether LN starts searching for orders from which lots or orders from which serialized items originate. In case of a multilevel bill of material, for example, this enables you to print all serialized items, lot items, and their original orders in one report.

To search for orders from a specific order origin or in a specific order range, select the Print by Order check box.

Field Information

Type

The Lot Type or Serial Origin for which you want to search the original orders.

The date up to which you want to search for the orders from which the lots or serialized items originate.

New Page per Occurrence

If this check box is selected, a new page is printed per lot or serialized item.

If this check box is selected, LN searches for orders from a specific order origin or in a specific order range.

Use this field In combination with the Track Both Lots and Serials field, to indicate which orders you want to print.

Lot Cleared
  • Only prints the orders from which the lots in the selection range originate
Lot Selected
  • Prints the orders from which the lots or serialized items in the selection range originate.
  • Starts searching for orders from which lots originate.
Serial Cleared
  • Only prints the orders from which the serialzed items in the selection range originate.
Serial Selected
  • Prints the orders from which the lots or serialized items in the selection range originate.
  • Starts searching for orders from which serialized items originate.
Note: 

If the value of the current field is:

  • Lot, you cannot specify a selection range of serial numbers and partner's serial numbers.
  • Serial, you cannot specify a selection range of lots and partner's lots.

Use this field to indicate which orders you want to print.

To print... Select...
  • Only the orders from which the lots or serialized items directly originate.
 First
  • All orders from which the lot items or serialized items directly and indirectly originate.
 All
  • Only the last orders from which the lot items or serialized items directly or indirectly originate.
 Last
  • All orders in which the lot items or serialized items are directly and indirectly used, but aggregated for the same item, lot and order position without printing duplicate records. This condensed way of printing does not visualize the relationships between different levels as is done when printing the existing All report.

Track Both Lots and Serials

Use this field in combination with the Start Search With field, to indicate which orders you want to print.

If this check box is cleared, and the value of the Start Search With field is:

  • Lot, LN only searches, in case of a bill of material (BOM), for the orders from which the lots in the selection range originate.
  • Serial, LN only searches, in case of a BOM, for the orders from which the serialized items in the selection range originate.

If this check box is selected, LN searches, in case of a BOM, for the orders from which the lots or serialized items in the selection range originate. The value of the Start Search With field determines whether LN starts searching in the BOM for orders from which lots originate, or for orders from which serialized items originate.

Example

If in a BOM, a BOM component is a lot item that is composed, among other things, of a serialized item, and you start searching with lot items, LN prints the orders for the lot-controlled BOM component and the serialized item.

Order Origin

Use this field to specify the order origin if you want to search for orders from a specific order origin.

You can only specify the order origin if the Print by Order check box is selected.
