Rebuild Planned Inventory Transactions (whinp1200m000)

Use this session to rebuild planned inventory transactions, for example, when they have been damaged by a calamity.

You can view the current planned inventory transactions in the Planned Inventory Transactions (whinp1500m000) session.

LN rebuilds planned inventory transactions if the Update option is selected in the Update Mode field. If Simulate is selected, LN only simulates rebuilding planned inventory transactions.

To start the rebuilding process, click Rebuild. As a result, LN carries out the following steps:

  1. Deletes the existing planned inventory transactions.
  2. Creates new planned inventory transactions based on the existing orders for all order origins.
  3. Recalculates the allocated inventory, inventory on order, and the quotation allocations. As a result, all allocated inventory and inventory on order is updated in the Warehouse - Item Inventory (whwmd2515m000) session in the Inventory by Warehouse, Item and Effectivity Unit (whwmd2516m000) session. All allocations, including quotation allocations, and the inventory on order are updated in the Company - Item Inventory (whwmd4100m100) session.
  4. Prints the following reports if errors or differences occur:

    • Changes in Planned Inventory by Item.
    • Changes in Planned Inventory by Warehouse and Item.
    • Changes in Planned Inventory by Warehouse, Item, Effectivity Unit.
