Priority Definitions (whinh6120m000)

Use this session to maintain or validate either cross-dock order priority definitions or planning priority rules.

To create a priority definition, complete the following steps:

Click the New button.
In the Priority Definition field, enter a code.
In the Description field, enter an appropriate description.
On the appropriate menu, choose Cross-dock Order Priorities or Planning Priority Rules as applicable.

Note: The type of priority definition depends on the Use Planning Priority Rules setting on the Cross-docking tab of the Inventory Handling Parameters (whinh0100m000) session.

Field Information

Priority Definition: Either a cross-dock priority definition or a set of planning priority rules.
Validated: If this check box is selected, the planning priority rules were successfully checked for inconsistencies, and therefore can be used for prioritizing.
