Initiate Automatic Receipts (whinh3223m000)

Use this session to create automatic receipts. These are received in the customer's administrative warehouse.

To create automatic receipts

  1. Use the selection range fields to select the buy-from business partners, warehouses, and items for which to generate automatic receipt records.

    Note that if you leave all selection ranges open, an error message appears. If you specify a selection for only one or two of the ranges, a message appears informing you of the number of records to be searched and prompting you to change your selection or continue. Using selection ranges may affect system performance. For further information on system performance, see Selection ranges and Jobs.

    Alternatively, use the fields in the Specific Selection tab to select up to 10 individual buy-from business partners, warehouses, and items. Note that the selection range fields in the Selection Range tabs are unavailable if you use the fields in the Specific Selection tab.

  2. Use the time fence fields to specify the time frame within which the automatic receipts must take place.
  3. Select the options in the Print and Options group boxes as required.
  4. Click Initiate to generate automatic receipts for the selected buy-from business partners, warehouses, and items.

    The resulting automatic receipts are displayed in the Automatic Receipts (whinh3523m000) session.

  5. LN carries out the receipts according to the automatic receipt records displayed in the Automatic Receipts (whinh3523m000) session. For further information, see The automatic receipt process.
Note: During the automatic receipt process, LN looks for upcoming receipts during repetitive time spans, each lasting 30 seconds. If you close this session, the process stops when the current 30 second time span has lapsed. This can be anytime between 0 and 30 seconds, which depends on the moment within the time span that you closed this session.

Success Report

Skip reading of Terms and Conditions

If this check box is selected, LN does not read the terms and conditions defined for the selected items, warehouses and buy-from business partners to create new receipt records, but only performs automatic receipts for receipt records whose receipt date is due.

You can select this check box if receipt records were already created in a previous run of this session.
