Inventory Ownership Change Order Lines (whinh1110m000)

Use this session to to view and create inventory ownership change order lines.

You can create or modify change order lines, unless:

  • A handling unit is present on the change order header to which the current change order line belongs.
  • The change order header is processed.
  • The change order is generated in the Generate Time Based Ownership Change Orders (whinh1200m100) session. If a change order is generated, the Manual check box in the Inventory Ownership Change Orders (whinh1100m000) session is cleared.

In the Inventory Ownership Change Order - Inventory Movement (whinh1115m000) session, you can change the location or adjust the handling unit structure if required after the ownership change. In the Generate Time Based Ownership Change Orders (whinh1200m100) session, you can create change orders and change order lines by batch. In the Process Inventory Ownership Change Orders (whinh1200m000) session, you can process change orders.

Field Information

Order Line

The identification number of the inventory ownership change order.

Order Line

The line number of the inventory ownership change order.

Item

The item whose ownership is to change. You can insert purchased or manufactured items in this field. If a handling unit is present for the current change order line or the change order header to which the line belongs, you cannot insert another item.

Serial Number

serial number of the item. If the item is a low volume serialized item, this field is mandatory. For items of other types, this field is unavailable. If a handling unit is present for the current change order line or the change order header to which the line belongs, you cannot change the serial number.

Lot

The lot number of the item. If the item is an in-inventory lot item, this field is mandatory. For items of other types, this field is unavailable. If a handling unit is present for the current change order line or the change order header to which the line belongs, you cannot change the lot number.

Handling Unit

The handling unit for which the inventory ownership must change. This field is available if the change order is manually inserted, that is, if the Manual check box is selected for the change order header, and if the Handling Units in Use check box is selected in the Inventory Handling Parameters (whinh0100m000) session for the current warehouse. If a handling unit is present on the change order header, this handling unit is defaulted in this field. You can only enter a handling unit with the same owner, serial number or lot number, and without child handling units containing items with other owners, lot numbers or serial numbers.

In Storage Unit

The quantity of the items whose ownership must change, expressed in the storage unit. If a serial number is present in the Serial Number field, the quantity in this field is 1. If a handling unit is present on the change order header or the current change order line, the storage unit of this handling unit is defaulted in this field.

Storage Unit

The unit used to express the storage unit. If a serial number is present in the Serial Number field, the inventory unit of the serialized item is displayed in this field. If a handling unit is present on the change order header or the current change order line, the storage unit of this handling unit is defaulted in this field.

Quantity in Inventory Unit

The item quantity expressed in the inventory unit.

In Inventory Unit

The unit used to express the inventory unit.

From Ownership

The ownership before the ownership change has taken place.

The value in this field is one of the following:

  • consigned
  • Not Applicable This value is not used in the current version.

If a handling unit is present on the change order header or the current change order line, the ownership of this handling unit is defaulted in this field. Otherwise, the default value is Consigned.

From Owner

The owner of the goods whose ownership is to change. If a handling unit is present on the change order header or the current change order line, and the ownership registration setting is Location or Physical Item and Location, the owner of this handling unit is defaulted in this field. If a serial number is present on the change order header or the current change order line, the owner of this serialized item is filled in this field.

To Ownership

The ownership after the ownership has changed.

The value in this field is one of the following:

  • company owned
  • Not Applicable This value is not used in the current version.

If a handling unit is present on the change order header or the current change order line, the ownership of this handling unit is defaulted in this field. Otherwise, the default value is Customer Owned.

To Owner

The owner of the goods after the ownership has been changed. The internal business partner of the warehouse of the change order header, if present, is defaulted in this field. You can replace this internal business partner with an internal business partner of a financial warehouse linked to the warehouse of the change order header.

Ship-to Location

The location to which the goods are moved if the ownership registration level is Location. The business partner of the location must be identical to the one in the To Owner field. If this business partner is the internal business partner of the warehouse of the change order header, you are not required to insert a business partner for the location.

If the ownership registration of the warehouse on the change order header is Warehouse or Physical Item, you cannot enter a location.

Line Text

If this check box is selected, a text is present for the current change order header. To create a header text, start the text editor on the toolbar.
