Service Quote Parameters (tsepp0100m000)

Use this session to to define the parameters that control data in the Easy Price Proposal module.

Field Information

Effective Date

The date and time on which you define new parameter settings.

Description

The description of the quote parameters.

Use Revisions

If this check box is selected, revisions are applicable for quotes.

Use Quote Requests for Maintenance Sales

If this check box is selected, Infor LN generates the quote requests for the related objects.

Use Alternatives

If this check box is selected, alternative are used for Quote Line and Quote Cost Line.

Maintenance Sales Quote

The number group of the maintenance sales quotes that LN uses.

Description

The description of the number group.

Maintenance Sales Quote Request

The default number group for the quote requests.

Note: 
  • This field is enabled only if the Use Quote Requests for Maintenance Sales check box is selected.
  • For the specified number group, the Dedicated for field must be set to Not Applicable in the Number Groups (tcmcs0151m000) session.
Use Quote Requests for Service Orders

If this check box is selected, Infor LN generates quote requests for service orders.

Note: 

This field is displayed only if:

  • The Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
  • The Use Service Order Quotes for Service Orders check box is cleared in the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session.
Service Order Quotes

The default number group for the service order quotes.

Note: 
  • This field is displayed only if:
    • The Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
    • The Use Service Order Quotes for Service Orders check box is cleared in the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session.
  • You must select a number group for which the Dedicated for field is set to Service or Not Applicable in the Number Groups (tcmcs0151m000) session.
Service Order Quote Requests

The default number group for the service order quote requests.

Note: 
  • This field is displayed only if:
    • The Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
    • The Use Service Order Quotes for Service Orders check box is cleared in the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session.
  • This field is enabled only if the Use Quote Requests for Service Orders check box is selected.
  • You must select a number group for which the Dedicated for field is set to Service or Not Applicable in the Number Groups (tcmcs0151m000) session.
Quote Duration

The number of days for which the maintenance sales quote is effective. LN uses the quote duration to calculate the expiry date of the quote.

Proposal Method

The method LN uses to calculate the invoice amount. The available options are as follows:

  • Fixed
  • Fixed Plus
  • Budget Indicator

Quote Line

The number difference between two quote lines.

Quote Cost Line

The number difference between two quote cost lines.

Create Planned Inventory Transactions

If this check box is selected, planned inventory transactions (PIT) must be created for the planned activity material requirements during the release of the planned activity.

Note: 
  • This field is displayed only if the Create Planned Inventory Transactions field is selected in the Service Planning Parameters (tsspc0100m000) session.
  • This value is defaulted from the Items - Service (tsmdm2100m000) session, however you can modify the value in this field.
Check Material Availability

If this check box is selected, material availability check can be performed for the service orders.

Update Material Availability

The availability of material for the orders can be updated.

Allowed values

Manual

The work order is not generated automatically when saving a new part maintenance line. The Create Work Order option must be used to generate the work order.

Automatic

The work order is generated automatically when saving a new part maintenance line and you cannot view the Create Work Order option.

Interactive

The work order is generated based on the option selected in the message displayed while saving a new part maintenance line.

Note: 

This field is unavailable if the Check Material Availability check box is cleared.

The Automatic option is not applicable.

Minimum Probability Percentage for Planned Inventory Transaction

The minimum probability percentage for the planned inventory transaction.
