Linking pricing contract on call
You can unlink/link a service contract with pricing terms on a call.
Maintain Call
The Pricing Contract, Pricing Contract Change and the Pricing Contract Line fields in the Call (tsclm1100m000) session specify the pricing information for a call.
The pricing terms and the Contracts and Warranty coverage data is determined, based on the Coverage Time defined in the Call (tsclm1100m000) session.
Unlink and Link Pricing Contract
Click Call (tsclm1100m000) session to link or unlink a service contract to a call. If a contract is linked to a call, LN populates the value in the Pricing Contract, Pricing Contract Change and the Pricing Contract Line fields in the Call (tsclm1100m000) session. The contract can be a Time and Material contract or Fixed Repair Price contract. For more information on pricing contract, refer to Contract Terms for Service Contract and Service Contract Quotation.
in theWhen you link a pricing contract to a call , the value of the Price Origin and the Sales Price fields in the Call Invoicing (tsclm1105s000) session is defaulted from the service contract. LN also recalculates the discount data.
If the Contract Ignored check box is selected/cleared in the Call (tsclm1100m000) session, the following are the possible scenarios:
- If this check box is selected and Pricing Contract, Pricing Contract Change and the Pricing Contract Line fields in the Call (tsclm1100m000) session are specified, a valid service contract is linked and the sales price of the service contract is overruled. LN allows you to modify the sales price defined for the call invoice line.
- If this check box is selected and Pricing Contract, Pricing Contract Change and the Pricing Contract Line fields in the Call (tsclm1100m000) session are not specified, a service contract is not linked to the call.
- If this check box is not selected and Pricing Contract, Pricing Contract Change and the Pricing Contract Line fields in the Call (tsclm1100m000) session are specified, a valid service contract exists, and pricing terms data is used.
- If this check box is not selected and Pricing Contract, Pricing Contract Change and the Pricing Contract Line fields in the Call (tsclm1100m000) session are not specified, a valid service contract does not exist.
- The Link / Unlink Contract option is disabled only if pricing contract data does not exist and the call status cannot be modified.
- The Contract Ignored check box is visible only if the Use Prices in Service Contracts check box is selected in the Contract Management Parameters (tsctm0100m000) session.
Call Invoicing
If the pricing terms on a service contract are defined for the installation group or the item, the value of the Sales Price field in the Call Invoicing (tsclm1105s000) session is defaulted, based on the time spent on the call and the pricing term of the service contract. The value of the Price Origin field is set to Contract in the Call Invoicing (tsclm1105s000) session. If the pricing terms on a service contract are not defined, the value of the Sales Price field in the Call Invoicing (tsclm1105s000) session is defaulted based on the time spent and the labour rate retrieve from the Path for Labor Rate field in the Call Parameters (tsclm0100m000) session. The Price Origin field is set to Other in the Call Invoicing (tsclm1105s000) session.
If the value in the Sales Price field is modified manually in the Call Invoicing (tsclm1105s000) session, the value of the Price Origin field is set to Manual.
Transfer a Call to Maintenance Sales Order / Service Orders
When you transfer a call to a maintenance sales order part line or a service order activity, the values in the Pricing Contract, Pricing Contract Change, Pricing Contract Line and Coverage Time fields in the Maintenance Sales Order - Part Lines (tsmsc1110m000) session and the Service Order Activity session are defaulted from the Call (tsclm1100m000) session.
Generate Call from a Service Order Activity
When you generate a call from a service order activity, the values in the Pricing Contract, Pricing Contract Change, Pricing Contract Line and the Coverage Time fields in the Call (tsclm1100m000) session is defaulted from the Service Order Activity session.
