Using parameters and defaults

LN includes sessions that you can use to set up general default values and parameters that define how Project works. Where necessary, you can override these values when you are running a live project. You can enter data about the following:

• The default values that apply to each authorized user. Use the User Profile (tppdm0101s000) session.
• General parameters and defaults that determine how Project works. Use the Project Parameters (tppdm0100s000) session.
• For the Planning, the Project Progress, and the Requirements Planning modules there are special parameter sessions.
• Options by user for Estimating and maps. Although defaults and options can be changed without problems you must be cautious to change actual parameters.
