Create/Update Baseline (tppss2220m000)
Use this session to create or update a baseline (planning) for a project.
You can derive a new baseline from an existing (previous) baseline with status Free. If you create a baseline, you are in fact creating both a milestone baseline and an activity baseline.
Field Information
- Process Options

This indicates the action you want to perform. You can save a baseline by either creating a baseline or updating an existing baseline. A baseline can be updated only if the baseline status is Free.
- Project

The code that uniquely identifies the project for which you want to save a baseline.
- Baseline

The code that uniquely identifies the baseline (planning) that you want to create or update.
- Derive from Previous Baseline

If this check box is selected, the baseline (planning) has to be derived from an existing baseline. If you choose to create a new baseline with this option, you use the activity structure of an existing (previous) baseline.
- Previous Baseline

The code that uniquely identifies the existing baseline from which you want to derive the new baseline.
