Milestone Baseline (tppss2121m000)
Use this session to view the baseline (planning) dates for a milestone. You can modify the milestone baseline data only if the status of the baseline is set to Free.
From this session, you can also save a new or updated baseline by choosing the appropriate command on the appropriate menu.

- Baseline

The code that uniquely identifies the milestone's baseline (planning). This baseline is used to time-phase the budget according to the earned value method milestone.

The baseline's status.
- Milestone

The code that uniquely identifies the milestone.
If the earned value method of a activity is Milestone, the milestone must in turn be linked to the activity. This lets you define the exact moment at which a specific earned budget amount will be released.
- Baseline Date

This indicates the scheduled date and time of the milestone.
The baseline is used to time-phase the budget. You can enter the baseline date manually or it can be taken from a particular schedule in an external scheduling package.
- Scheduled Date

The date and time when the milestone is scheduled.
Note: The value in this field is defaulted from the Milestones (tppss2101m000) session. - Actual Date

The actual date and time when the milestone is reached.
