Norm Tables (tirou0130m000)

Use this session to define norm tables. The norm times and norm units that are recorded for the norm tables are used to calculate an item's production rate and cycle time.

In the Norm Tables (tirou0130m000) details session you must define the description of the table's columns (X-axis), and the description of the table's rows (Y-axis). You must also define the number of columns and rows. Finally, you must add values for each of the table's columns and rows.

From the Norm Tables (tirou0130m000) session you can start the Norm Times (tirou0131m000) session. In this session you can record norm times or norm units on the basis of the values in the norm table rows and columns.

Field Information

Norm Time Table

norm table

X-Axis Description

Number of X-Coordinates

The number of columns in the norm table.

Y-Axis Description

The description of the values in the norm table's rows. For example, width, length, diameter, and so on.

The norm table type.

Conversion Factor Norm Times

The factor by which the norm table's norm time or norm unit must be multiplied.

X-Coordinates

A value of the variable (for example, length) that is entered in the norm table's columns.

For each combination of an x-value (column value) and an y-value (row-value), you can record a norm time or norm unit for the task in the Norm Times (tirou0131m000) details session. You can start the Norm Times (tirou0131m000) session from this session.

Y-Coordinates

The value of the variable (for example, length) that is expressed in the norm table's rows.

Combined with the values of the norm table's columns, you can record the norm times or norm units for the task in the Norm Times (tirou0131m000) session. You can start the Norm Times (tirou0131m000) session from this session.
