Calculation ID (tigrt0130m000)
Use this session to list or define calculation IDs.
If you select a calculation ID and click on the appropriate menu, the calculation attached to the calculation ID is shown.
If you select a calculation ID and then click on the appropriate menu, the calculation questions attached to the calculation ID are shown.
Calculations can be performed in the classification and search processes in the Product Classification module. You use calculation IDs to identify calculations.
Field Information
- Calculation ID

The code that identifies a calculation.
- Description

The description or name of the code.
- Search Key

The search key that enables you to quickly retrieve calculation IDs by a key other than the code.
- Calculation Type
-
This field indicates whether the calculation is linked to an aspect or to a constraint in the classification process.
Note:You can only change the calculation type if:
- Calculation questions have not yet been defined.
- Calculation lines have not yet been created.
- Calculations have not yet been included in a constraint.
- Answer Group

The code of an answer group.
You can only define the number of decimals if no answer group has been defined for the calculation.
If there are items that have been properly classified using this calculation, you cannot maintain this field.

The description or name of the code.
- Number of Decimals

The calculation result can be directly incorporated in the classification code. This field indicates the number of decimals the calculation result must have.
Note:- You can only define the number of decimals, if you did not define an answer group for the calculation.
- If there are items that have been properly classified by using this calculation, you cannot maintain this field.
