Answer Groups (tigrt0125m000)
Use this session to display, create, or modify answer groups.
An answer group contains a number of predefined answers that are selected in the classification process. You must link the answers in another session, depending on what you enter in the Answer Type field:
- If you enter Numeric, you must link answers to the answer group in the Numeric Answers (tigrt0126m000) session.
- If you enter Alphanumeric, you must link answers to the answer group in the Alphanumeric Answers (tigrt0127m000) session.
- If you enter Answer & Follow-up, you must link answers to the answer group in the Answers and Follow-Up Questions (tigrt0128m000) session.

The code that identifies an answer group.
- Description

The description or name of the code.
- Search Key

The search key that enables you to quickly retrieve answer groups by a key other than the code.
- Answer Type

Select an answer type.
Note:You can only change the answer type in one of the following cases:
- The answers have not yet been defined for the answer group.
- The answer group has not been assigned to a calculation.
- The answer group is not used for classification.
- Selection by Subprocess

If this check box is selected, the answers to the questions during the classification procedure are presented in a list. Select one answer from the list. You do not have to enter an answer yourself.
Note: You cannot directly enter answers for the Answer & Follow-up answer type; the field is already selected. - Sort by

The sort type for the answers.
Note: You cannot modify the sort type for the Answer & Follow-up answer type. It will remain Return Value in all cases. - Extendable

If this check box is selected, you can add answers to the answer group during the classification process.
- Length of Return Value

The length of the code that is included in the classification code when an answer of this answer group is selected.
Allowed values
The minimum length is one, the maximum length is eight characters.
