Business Process by Project Model Properties (tgbrg3165s000)

Use this session to display and maintain the business-process details.

Note: Since business processes are initially created in the Business Processes (tgbrg5500m000) session, you can maintain most of the details in that session.

If you started the current session while the Enterprise Modeler Editor was in read-only mode, you cannot change any detail in the current session.

Field Information

Sequence

The sequence number of the business process in the project model.

If a business process is added to the business model, the sequence number is automatically increased by 1. This value can ,however, be overwritten.

Example

You can number the business processes in such a way that they indicate which subprocesses belong to which (main) business process.

Subprocess

If this check box is selected, the business process is a subprocess in the project model. A subprocess is a so-called nested process, which means that the business process is incorporated into another business process.

The date when the business process was created.

Business Process Category

Expired

If this check box is selected, the business process has expired.

Repository Help

If this check box is selected, repository Help is available, which provides you with further information about the business process. (See the View Repository Help command).

Model-Specific Help

If this check box is selected, model-specific Help is available, which provides you with further information about the business process. (See the View Model Specific Help command).

Owner

If this check box is selected, only the owner can modify the business process.

In addition, the owner must also be authorized for the version and the status of the business process.

Authorization role

If this check box is selected, only the ERP user with the Tools role that is specified in the Only Role is Authorized field can modify the business process.

In addition, users who have this Tools role must also be authorized for the version and the status of the business process.

You can link Tools roles to a normal user in the User Data (ttaad2500m000) session.

Note: Super users already have Tools roles.

This field applies to the Business Process in Repository (tgbrg5100s000) session.

Target Date Mode

Specify the method of deadline that you prefer to use. The options are:

  • Deadline mode. The deadline specified is a specific day/time calendar.
  • Relative The deadline specified is relative with regards to the start date/time of the business process or activity. The deadline is added to the current date and time to calculate the actual deadline.
  • Calculate The deadline specified is input for a formula that evaluates the required deadline date/time.
Relative Target Date

The number of days that is added to the date when the business process is started.

Calculated Target Date

The formula to calculate the deadline date for the activity.

Description

The description or name of the model item.

The deadline specified is relative with regard to the start date/time of the business process or activity. That is, the deadline is added to the current date and time to calculate the actual deadline.

Calculate

A formula used to determine the required deadline date/time.

Estimated Duration in Days

The average number of days needed to finish the business process.

Estimated Duration Time

The average time needed to finish the business process.

Priority

The priority that is used in the Worklist Handler to arrange the work items in the worklist.

The highest priority is 1.
