Integration Document Types (tfgld4557m000)

Use this session to view the available integration document types.

If you are defining a mapping scheme, only the integration document types for which you have not yet defined a mapping are shown.

Field Information

Integration Document Type

The internal code of the integration document type.

If you are defining a mapping scheme, only the integration document types for which you have not yet defined a mapping are shown.

Integration Document Type

The generated description of the integration document type. This reflects the business object and the financial transaction.

Description

An additional description of the integration document type. For example, this field can be used for a more detailed description or a description in a different language.

Business Object

The internal code of the business object of the integration document type.

Business Object Description

The business object of the integration document type.

The business object represents the transaction origin of the integration document type.

Sort Element

A mapping element on which the integration transactions can be sorted in the Integration Transactions (tfgld4582m000) session.

To every integration document type, you can assign one of the available mapping elements as the sort element. You do not have to use the sort element for the actual mapping.

Publish Posting Details

If this check box is selected, the financial data of the integration transaction is fed back to Operations Management.

The posting details consist of the following financial data:

  • Financial year and period
  • Reporting year and period
  • Tax year and period
  • Posting date
Modifiable Document Type

If the integration document type represents a business object of an external application, this check box is selected to indicate that you can make changes to the integration document type.

For example, you can then select or clear check boxes that for the predefined integration document types are selected and cleared by LN.

Ledger Mapping Mandatory

If this check box is selected, you cannot save the mapping scheme details of an integration document type if you did not define the ledger mapping.

If this check box is cleared, ledger mapping is not mandatory. For example, the check box is cleared for integration document types that are only used for dimension accounting.

Use in Mapping Scheme

If this check box is selected, the integration document type can be used for ledger and dimension mapping.

You can change this setting for:

  • Integration document types for which this check box was initially selected.
  • Integration document types that are related to Fixed Assets , Accounts Payable , and Invoicing .
  • Integration document types that exist in the Integration Document Types by Reconciliation Group (tcfin0115m000) session.

If this check box is cleared, and the integration document type is not used in the mapping scheme, the following applies:

  • No errors or warnings will be generated when you check the mapping scheme.
  • You can no longer set up a mapping for this integration document type.
  • If the integration document type still exists in the mapping scheme, a warning will be given.
  • If you copy a mapping scheme which includes a mapping for this integration document type, the integration document type and its mapping will not be copied.
Expired

If this check box is selected, the integration document type cannot be used to define a mapping.

For consistency reasons, obsolete integration document types are not deleted but they are set to Expired.

A predefined integration document type becomes obsolete if you install a new version of the software in which it is no longer used. If you run the Initialize Mapping Scheme Data (tcfin0210m000) session, LN marks the integration document type as Expired.
