Currency Difference Groups (tfgld0195m000)

Use this session to define the gain and loss ledger accounts for each Ledger Account Group. Ledger Account Group can be selected for each ledger account with Currency Analysis set to Required, Calculate Currency Diff. in Chart of Accounts (tfgld0508m000) session. Currency differences of these ledger accounts which are calculated using Calculate Currency Differences (tfgld5201m000) session, are posted to the gain or loss account of the selected Ledger Account group.

Note: This session is applicable only if Ledger Accounts by Target Account Group check box is selected in the Finance Company Parameters (tfgld0503m000) session.

Field Information

Target Account Group: The Target Account Group that can be linked to one or more ledger accounts with Currency Analysis set to Required, Calculate Currency Diff. in Chart of Accounts (tfgld0508m000) session.
Description: The description or name of the Target Account Group.
Gain Account: The currency profit account to which the calculated currency profit of a ledger account is posted that is linked to the Target Account Group.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Loss Account: The currency profit account to which the calculated currency loss of a ledger account is posted that is linked to the Target Account Group.
Description: The description or name of the code.
