Copy Dimensions to Statement Accounts (tffst1280m000)
Use this session to copy a dimension account scheme into a statement account scheme.
This procedure is useful if the desired reporting structure is (almost) the same as the base dimension master. By copying the dimension master and changing some statement accounts, you can quickly create statement account structure. You can also select a part of the dimension master by defining a range of dimension accounts, sublevels and companies.
Field Information
- Financial Statement

Enter the code for a new financial statement.
- Delete records before copy

If this check box is selected, all statement accounts are deleted before the copy is done.
- Rewrite existing records

If this check box is selected,, and a dimension account is copied with the same code as the existing statement account, already existing statement accounts are overwritten.
- Copy Parent/Child Structure

If this check box is selected, the parents are copied to the statement accounts, based on the parent/child structure in the dimension master. In addition, the Copy to same Sublevels check box is automatically selected.
- Copy to same Sublevels

If this check box is selected, the sublevels as defined in the dimension master are copied to the statement accounts.
Note: This check box is always selected if the Copy Parent/Child Structure check box is selected. - Add Default Ledgr/Dim Accounts

If this check box is selected, the ledger account and dimension link, which are defined in the chart of accounts, is added to the statement accounts.
If this check box is cleared, no link exists between the statement accounts and the ledger accounts/dimension. You must define the link yourself.

If this check box is selected, you can only select text dimension accounts.
