Copy Ledger Accounts to Statement Accounts (tffst1270m000)
Use this session to copy ledger accounts from the base chart of accounts structure to the statement accounts.
This procedure is useful if the desired reporting structure is (almost) the same as the base chart of accounts. You can create the statement account structure quickly if you copy the chart of accounts, and change some statement accounts.
You can select a part of the chart of accounts if you define a range of ledger accounts, sublevels, and company numbers. You can also choose to copy the statutory chart of accounts, or the economic chart of accounts.

The code of the financial statement.
- Accounting Scheme

If you select Statutory, only the statutory accounts are selected.
If you select Economic, all ledger accounts are selected.
The statutory parent is selected if a ledger account only has a statutory parent. The economic parent is selected if:
- A ledger account has a statutory parent and an economic parent.
- A ledger account has only an economic parent.
Allowed values

Economic ledger accounts are also checked.
- Delete records before copy

If this check box is selected, all statement accounts are deleted before the copy is done.
- Rewrite existing records

If this check box is selected, and a ledger account code equals the statement account code, the statement account is overwritten.
If you selected the Delete records before copy checkbox, this check box is always selected.
- Copy Parent/Child Structure

If this check box is selected, the parents are copied to the statements accounts, based on the parent-child structure in the chart of accounts. In addition, the Copy to same Sublevels check box is automatically selected.
- Copy to same Sublevels

If this check box is selected, the sublevels defined in the chart of accounts are copied to the statements accounts.
Note: If you selected the Copy Parent/Child Structure check box, this check box is always selected. - Add Default Ledgr/Dim Accounts

If this check box is selected, the ledger account and dimension link, which is defined in the chart of accounts, is added to the statement accounts. If this check box is not selected, no link exists between the statement accounts and the ledger accounts/dimensions. You must define the link yourself.

If this check box is selected, you can specify in the Account Type field that you want to select:
- Balance sheet accounts
- Profit and loss accounts
- Intercompany accounts
- Text accounts
- Account Type

If you selected the Accounts of specific Type check box, you can use this field to select an account type.
