Distribution Lines (tffam8527m000)

Use this session to display distribution line adjustment information. You can view whether a distribution line was changed, removed, or added. You can also select a record for further detail inquiry and can see what the preadjusted and postadjusted values are for the distribution line.

When you add an asset, you record one or more distribution lines for it. Distribution lines contain the following data:

  • The physical location of the asset.
  • The expense account to which depreciation must be recorded.
  • The quantity or percentage of the asset distributed to the indicated location and account
Note: 
  • If you access this session using the Distrib. Lines option in the Adjust Assets (tffam8220m000) session, LN only allows you to delete the distribution lines with the Action type, Add.
  • If the Category, Group, Subcategory, and In Service Date are replaced in the Adjust Assets (tffam8220m000) session, LN creates the related transactions for all the distribution lines in the Asset Book Transaction Inquiry (tffam8501m000) session.

Field Information

Sequence Number

Displays the incremental distribution line number.

Action

The following valid values allows you to specify an action for the distribution line.

Choose:

  • Change, to edit the distribution line.
  • Remove, to remove the distribution line.
  • Add, to create a new distribution line.
  • Ignore, to ignore the distribution line.
Source Financial Company

Displays the current company.

Target Financial Company

Displays the new company.
