The budget code.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Maintain and Track Budget Balances

The method to enter budget amounts and to determine how the budget balances are displayed.

This field can have the following values:

• Annually

  The budget amount is entered in period 0 for the whole year. All budget balances are displayed and maintained for that period.

• Periodically

  The budget amount is entered in the periods starting with 1. Budget balances are maintained and displayed for all defined periods.

Period Type for Budget Year

The period type.

This field can have the following values:

• Fiscal

  The budget periods are copied from the fiscal year's fiscal periods, as defined in the master data of the General Ledger module.

• Reporting

  The budget periods are copied from the fiscal year's reporting periods, as defined in the master data of the General Ledger module.
