Initial LN users
During the software installation, several LN super users are created with system-administration privileges for the LN database. You can use these users to create the operational LN environment.
To create the operational companies on an LN system, you must log on as an LN super user.
An LN super user has the authorization required to create new companies.
Note: Do not log on to
LN
as the
root user or
baan user when creating companies or setting up
other
LN
functionality. The root user has specific permissions on UNIX level that cause
problems when you convert the changes to runtime in
LN.
This also applies to the baan user on Windows level.
