Inspection of Lots and Serials

In a production process, quality inspections are used to certify that the manufactured products are compliant with the required specifications. Based on the result of the quality test, the production process is either blocked or released.

Usually every single item in the batch is not tested. Often only a few items have to be tested to determine if all the items in the batch are approved or rejected.

LN supports this functionality based on sampling and sample rules.

Note: It is also possible to create one inspection order for serialized items (In Inventory items and Not In Inventory items).
