Import EDI Data (ecedi6220m000)
Use this session to import the predefined data used to process EDI messages. This data comes from the defaults.edi file, that can be exported from a company. This session uses the defaults.edi file from the directory specified in the Standard Path field in the EDI Parameters (ecedi0100s000) session.
Note: This session is
usually run directly after installation. This session does not overwrite any
existing master data, although other existing EDI data, such as the conversion
setups, is overwritten. If you run this session at a later stage of your
implementation, your customizations can be overwritten. This session is
protected so that it cannot run simultaneously with sessions that interfere
with it or with which it can interfere. If you try to import a defaults.edi
file from an older (incompatible) version or release, an error message displays
and the import process is interrupted.
