Objects (dmsys1511m000)

Use this session to create a new object or view existing objects. An object stores the details of a ERP session in ODM. The details include the main table, main session, and index to store the object values and so on.

The session also enables you to store object data that you can use to store the links between various objects.

You can click the corresponding commands on the Specific menu.

  • Families Owned by a Type: Starts the Object Families (dmsys1512m000) session. Use this session to display all the families of which the selected object is the owner.
  • Families Object is Member In: Starts the Object Families - Linkage Types Lines (Family Members) (dmsys0513m000) session. Use this session to display all the families of which the selected object is a member.
  • Object Masks: Starts the Object Masks (dmcom0522m000) session. Use this session to create an object mask for the object.
  • Status by Object Type: Starts the Object Statuses by Object (dmsys0520m000) session. Use this session to display the status related to the life-cycle changes of an object.
  • Reason Codes: Starts the Reasons (dmcom0150m000) session. Use this session to define the reason codes for an action defined for the object.
  • Families List: Starts the Object Families by Member (dmsys9512m000) session. Use this session to select an object family. You can select a family to add the current object as a member of the family, else deselect to remove the object from family members list.
  • Actions: Starts the Actions (dmcom0530m000) session. Use this session to create a new action for this object.
  • Related Objects: Starts the Related Objects (dmsys1113m000) session. Use this session to link a new related object to this object.

Object Description

The description of the object.

Main Table

The table name wherein the object data can be found.

System Defined Object

If this check box is selected, the object is a system-defined object that you cannot modify.
