Warehouse on the BCM line

To avoid allocation problems at the moment of dependent demand explosion, you must use a warehouse on a BCM line in LN. This is the warehouse to which LN explodes dependent demand for the master planning part of the planning horizon.

LN explodes the dependent demand of a main item to plan items that have the same planning cluster as the warehouse you specified on the bill of critical materials of the main item.

The Warehouse field in the Planning Bill of Critical Material (cprpd3120m000) session can be filled in several ways:

• LN automatically copies the warehouse specified on the BOM line in the Bill of Material (tibom1110m000) session to the Warehouse field in the Planning Bill of Critical Material (cprpd3120m000) session when a dependent demand explosion is carried out.
• If no warehouse is specified on the BOM line, LN uses the warehouse that is specified for the item in the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) session when a dependent demand explosion is carried out.
• You can manually enter a warehouse in the Warehouse field in the Planning Bill of Critical Material (cprpd3120m000) session.
