To replan planned orders
If you want to move a planned order to another date, you can choose one of these commands:
- The Planned Orders (cprrp1100m000) session command in the
- The Planned Order (cprrp1600m000) session command in the
The
command recomputes:- The planned order-line's start date or finish date.
- The planned capacity usage (see the Capacity Use by Planned Order (cprrp2100m000) session).
- The planned inventory movements (see the Planned Order - Inventory Movements (cprrp0511m000) session).
The Planning Method field in the Planned Orders (cprrp1100m000) session determines the planning direction:
- Forward: starting from a given start date for an order line, LN determines the finish date
- Backward: starting from a given finish date for an order line, LN determines the start date
Note: When replanning a
planned production order, LN applies the regular criteria to determine if
a routing or a fixed lead time must be used. For more information, see Production lead-time calculation in Enterprise Planning.
If Enterprise Planning plans an order with a routing, it also records the planned capacity use (see the Capacity Use by Planned Order (cprrp2100m000) session). If an order is planned with a fixed lead time, no capacity use is recorded.
