Export External Report Designs (ttrpi1200m000)

Use this session to export the external report designs stored as additional files to your appropriate Report Server(s).

Report designs that are imported at Infor will be included in a Feature Pack Build or PMC solution which can be delivered to customers/partners. By installing a feature pack or PMC solution, the report designs will become available in the dictionary of the LN Environment. The next step is to export these reports to:

  • A report design file to customize them further in SSDT.
  • Directly to the Report Server.

Field Information

Package

Supply the package or range of packages for which external Report Designs are stored as additional files.

Report

Supply the report or the range of LN reports for which to export the external Report Designs.

Version

Supply the version of the VRC in which the LN report designs for which to export the external Report Designs.

Release

Supply the release of the VRC in which the LN report designs for which to export the external Report Designs.

Customer

Supply the customer of the VRC in which the LN report designs for which to export the external Report Designs.

Multi level

Select the Multi level option if you want to export report designs which are not attached to the Version, Release, Customer, you supplied earlier, but to an ancestor VRC.

VRC Depth

The depth indicates up-to (and including) which ancestor VRC the session will process for the export.

Overwrite

Select this check-box to indicate if a report design must be overwritten at the export destination if it already exists. If this check box is cleared the existing report design will be skipped.

Select this check-box to create a logfile which contains information about the export process of the report designs within the given range will be shown.

Note: 
Report Server Type

Select the Report Server Type.

Supply the name of the Report Server to which the external report designs are exported. The report server description and the folder where the reports are exported to are shown.

Client

Select this checkbox to supply the folder on the client PC to which the external report designs must be exported.
