Mappings (ttocm0105m000)
Use this session to maintain, for an object type, the mapping from BOD attributes to LN table fields or script functions.
Field Information
- Model
-
A code to identify the object model.
- Standard
-
This check box indicates whether the model is a standard or a customized model.
You cannot maintain a standard model or its child components, such as actions and table relations.
You can delete a standard model if it is not deployed.
- Object Type
-
A code to identify the object type.
- Attribute
-
A BOD attribute.
- Table
-
The table for which the mapping is applicable.
- Include old value
-
This check box indicates whether the old, original, value must be used.
- Function
-
If this check box is selected, the attribute is filled by the result of a function.
If this check box is cleared, the attribute is filled by the content of a table field.
- DAL/library
-
The DAL2 script or general library that contains the function to fill the attribute. This can also be a library in the Extensions package (tx) to calculate custom fields.
This field is only applicable if the Function check box is selected.
- Field/function
-
The table field or function to fill the attribute.
In case of a table field, the field must be present in the source table. Combined fields are not allowed.
In case of a function, the function must be present in the DAL or library specified in the DAL/library field. Such a function must be a function without arguments and must always return the calculated value as a string.
- Standard
-
This check box indicates whether the mapping is a standard or a customized mapping.
If you copy a model from a standard model, the mappings in the new model are standard; the new model itself is not standard.
If you modify or create a mapping, the Standard check box is automatically cleared.
Note: If you change the attributes back to the standard definition, the Standard check box stays cleared.
